Suits

Suit is a Punjabi dress that looks fabulous on any woman. And with embroidery like Phulkari, Chikankari or Stylish prints, they become a favorite among Indian handloom appreciators.

                 

A suit is a three piece outfit consisting of a kameez, salwar and a dupatta. Traditionally a kameez is a long sleeved, knee length flowing kurta.  Salwar is a garment in which legs are wide at the top and narrow at the bottom. The legs are pleated at the waist in to a waistband.  Dupatta also known as an odhani is a long scarf or shawl generally worn around the neck.

Punjabi Suits
Latest Punjabi suits from India comes in a variety of colors and designs. These suits are usually very colorful i.e have darker tones and very heavy embroideries. Traditional punjabi suits are very beautifully designed with traditional embroideries like phulkari etc.

Anarkali suits
The anarkali designs are varied. Anarkali suits come in embroidery, patch work, prints and can be embellished with diamantes and crystals. Designer anarkali patterns are sourced from old paintings of Mughal and Rajasthani periods when they were worn commonly. The anarkali pattern that has an old world charm has Lord Krishna and Radha sitting together in the garden.

Kashmiri Suits
Kashmiri Hand embroided salwar kameez is a result of the efforts done by the craftsmen. In such type of Salwar Kameez the embroidery work is not embellished with threads only. There are many decorative items that can be embroided along with the thread like sippy, stars, beads, moti, gungroo, laces, stones and jewels etc.

Cotton has been used to make very fine lightweight cloth. Cloth or fabric is a flexible artificial material made up of a network of natural or artificial fibers formed by weaving or knitting. Cotton kameez salwar, designer cotton salwar suits can be worn at festive as well as daily wear.
