The clothes made from leather have the capability to manage wear and tear. Jackets, caps and gloves are a part of the leather clothing range. These clothes are beautified with the help of prints, embroideries and patchwork.
India is famous the world over for its leather products.Sometimes one can also find appliqué work done on them. Mojdis are so soft and delicate, that they can be rolled up or folded easily.
In India there are so many states in which leather product or clothes are made on a large scale. Kashmir is known for ornamental leather products. Hoshiarpur in Punjab is known for use of leather pieces in appliqué work. West Bengal is also known for it’s decorated leather products.
The use of leather had begun for the first time when man hunted wild animals for his food . He realized the usage of leather for the purpose of clothing and others materials.
